The best way for us to start the wedding styling process is to have an interview with the bride and groom (or bride & bride, groom & groom) and get a deep understanding of your dreams and hopes for your big day. Some brides have been planning this day since they were a little girl, others have no idea where to start. That's why this initial meeting is so important. Jess likes to allow 1 - 2 hours for this, enjoy a coffee together, and have an informal chat to see where you're at and what level of involvement you want from her. If you haven't started a Pinterest board at this stage that's ok, but we like for you to collect as many photos as you wish so that we can get a clear understanding of how you want your special day to look. If you feel your ideas are all over the place that's ok too. That's what we're here for, to bring it all together into a perfectly styled, stress free and bespoke event.
We'll focus on a questionaire which covers the number of guests, time of year of your event, ceremony location, reception venue, vendors, colour themes, styles, and another hundred things that you may have never even thought you needed to think about.
After sharing your inspiration and vision with us we get started on your styling proposal. We research your theme extensively and create a 5-10 page PDF document, depending on the size of your event, setting out everything from your colour pallete, furniture, layout for ceremony & reception, flowers, invitations, placecards, crockery, cutlery etc. The proposal outlines the theming elements we recommend to create a wedding to suit your requirements & reflect your personal style.
